Recycling

TIC Mattress Recycling have recycled in excess of 200,00 mattresses and bases . Considering each mattress uses 0.75 of a cubic meter of space that would mean we’ve diverted approximately 140,000 cubic meters from land fill.

What is recycled?

  • Wood from the bed bases which is turned into garden mulch by local a company.
  • Foam and Latex is recycled into carpet underlay. (including futons)
  • Steel springs are recycled back into high quality steel products.
  • External quilted material and other internal materials are used in alternate fuel processes.
